The Best Is Yet To Come - 6/11/2013
We’ve heard the saying, “Boy, those were the good old days”. In many ways we believe that the accomplishments and fun times are limited to the things we experienced in the past. Sadly many of us hold on to the myth that it can’t get better than “that” and from now on life will be stale without any more excitement or major achievements to strive for. However my friends, I believe that if we adopt a positive attitude and challenge ourselves to reach for the next level, the best is yet to come. The thoughts we focus on and the action steps we take today can spark us to a wonderful life in the future. As long as we have our health, anything is possible. So yes, we can enjoy even better days, higher rewards. It’s in our hands!
Work Smart - 5/21/2013
Growing up our parents, teachers, coaches, etc. always told us that to be successful in life, we have to work hard. True words but even more important, it’s imperative that we work smart. Too many people work very hard throughout their lives, putting in several hours daily and weekly, yet never really advancing in their lives. They continue to do the same things over and over again. The key is to work smart, taking time to plan and executing on the few things that matter most in your business. Effective time management will allow you to focus and become consistently productive. In fact what will happen is that you will end up working fewer hours while enjoying the fruits of your efforts. Take a step back, review your work and make it a point to work smart from now on.
Take one step at a time - 5/14/2013
Most of us want to arrive at our individual destinations today, now! We lack the patience needed to achieve our goals, our dreams, etc. However, the truth is that everything we want in life is part of a great long journey, a path taken with one small step at time, understanding that sometimes it’s one step forward two steps back. All that is important is that we keep moving forward, keeping one foot in front of the other. You can be assured that if you believe this and stay the course, before you know it, you have arrived. Never forget to take that one step each day, no matter what!
